Helix QAC Functional Enhancements

Functional Enhancements to Helix QAC 2025.1

The following functional enhancements have been added:

  • GUI settings are now saved for subsequent sessions
  • qacli view now outputs RCMA project metric threshold violations
  • Enhanced local baseline location validation
  • Usability improvements to license polling in GUI
  • Added Auto CCT support for the Texas Instruments C7000 compiler
  • All unused suppressions in headers can now be output in suppression reports
  • Validate projects can now accept non-standard encoding values
  • Added CPU model logging
  • Added Auto CCT support for the Tasking ccarm compiler
  • New license model distinguishing between User and Build licenses
  • Bazel builds with no convenience symbolic links are now supported for synchronization
  • Added Auto CCT support for Green Hills compilers prior to 2018

Deprecations and Removals

The following functionality has been deprecated and will be removed in a future release:

  • Version 2025.1 of Helix QAC represents a significant break in compatibility between new and old components. Components for releases prior to 2025.1 will not work with this version of Helix QAC, nor will components designed for 2025.1 work in version 2024.4 of Helix QAC or earlier.
  • Users can no longer upload analysis results to Validate using qacli upload ‑‑validate
